These trading terms apply for purchases made by consumers on this web shop, which is owned and operated by:

We recommend that you read the conditions carefully before you shop on the web shop.
Please pay special attention to the texts listed in italicised font.
2. Ordering of products
You can order online, 24 hours a day. We process orders between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm. Orders placed outside these hours will be processed on the next business day.
When you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation/invoice via email. If you wish to receive a new copy of your order confirmation, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
It is recommended that you save the order confirmation/invoice for use in any enquiries with Kappa Nordic.
You are responsible for ensuring that the customer information you enter, as part of a purchase, is correct as we do not validate or verify this information.
Please note that you must be at least 15 years of age to order goods from our web shop.
3. Prices and Payment
The applicable price is the price, which at the time of ordering is given in the order summary statement, before you accept. All the prices are current and incl. vat.
Unless otherwise stated, the total price, including any shipping costs, must be paid in full before we can send/deliver the goods.
We accept the following methods of payment:
• VISA Electron
• American Express
• Mobile Pay
• Via bill
The amount for the goods will only be deducted from your account when they are shipped from our web shop. We can never deduct an amount greater than the amount you approved during the acquisition. The payment system on Kappa Nordic is approved by Nets, and we do not charge a payment fee when paying. The payment fee is paid by Kappa Nordic.
4. Security on racoonoutdoor.com
When paying with a credit card, you are always protected against misuse. Our web shop works in collaboration with Nets, and all the data transported over the Internet in connection with your purchase on our web shop is protected by means of SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
While you are merely surfing our website in order to find what you are looking for, there is no encryption. When you need to enter your payment information, credit card number, expiration date, etc. you will enter a so-called “secure" area. In the secure area, the information is encrypted and your information is thus protected.
All credit card information is validated by Nets, i.e. it is investigated whether the card has been blocked or if there is something else that would make it invalid. If everything is in order, a notification to this effect is submitted to you.
Kappa Nordic will not receive any information on your credit card number and/or expiration date, but a notice that an amount has been reserved for Kappa Nordic, for subsequent transfer, will be received once we have expedited your order. When the order is submitted to GLS, the reserved amount will be transferred to our Nets account.
You pay no excess in the event that your card is misused in an Internet shop that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system. Therefore you are better protected than in the physical world. Kappa Nordic gives you this security.
If your order contains multiple items, the total order will always be delivered together, based on the product with the longest delivery time.

The ordered goods are sent to you via GLS and a local business partner in your country (Schencker, Bring etc).
6. Return Policy
You have the right to cancel your order within 20 days after you receive the goods. You may exercise your right of withdrawal without giving any specific reason, by sending a message to us immediately via ordinary post or e-mail. You may choose to use the standard cancellation form, which is available at the bottom of this document, but this is not a requirement.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot exercise your right of withdrawal by simply refusing to accept the package or by failing to fetch it from the carrier.

We recommend that you always state your order number in the notification of cancellation to avoid errors and delays. If you have lost your return slip, please contact customer service who sends a new one to you.
If you send a notification of cancellation of the purchase, you must then return the goods to us at the address below, without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wanted to withdraw the purchase:

We may require proof that the item was dispatched before the deadline. If the item is sent, it must be packaged securely.
PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for any damages that may occur during transport. Also note that you will bear the cost of returning the goods unless we have delivered the goods to you in error, or if upon receipt of the product, it is found to be damaged or broken. We are not able to indicate in advance the cost of the return shipping as this depends on the weight and choice of carrier. However, it is likely that the return shipping will cost at least the same as the amount you paid to the web shop for delivery.
Returned items must be in good and undamaged condition. If returned items show signs of damage or use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature of the product, its features and the way it operates, you will be responsible for deterioration of the product value. We estimate the possible value, based on a specific assessment of the returned product, according to the following guidelines for impairment:
- No signs of use, and the product is possibly in the original packaging: 0 %.
- Minor signs of use of the product: Approx. 50-75 %.
- Visible signs of use of the product, such as washable stains: Approx. 75 %.
- Visible damage to the goods, such as non-washable stains, tears, cracks, etc. or washing contrary to the washing instructions: Approx. 90-100 %.
Payment for the goods will be returned as soon as possible and in any event within 28 days of our receipt of your notice of cancellation. However, we reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we receive the item/items for inspection, or until you have presented evidence that the product has been returned, whichever is the earliest.
If you cancel your purchase in accordance with these conditions, we will refund the purchase price, including the original shipping costs, minus any impairment. Unless you have given us instructions otherwise, we will make the refund using the same method of payment as you used to make the original transaction.

7. Warranty and Complaints
When shopping via our web shop, you naturally have 24 month’s warranty. This means that you can either get a refund or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.
This is subject to the claim being justified and that the defect is not caused by incorrect use of the product or other damaging behaviour. Claims must be submitted within a reasonable period of time after you discover the product’s defect. If a claim is made within two months, the claim will always be timely. When the claim is justified, we will refund reasonable shipping costs that you may have in connection with returning the item. To cover your shipping costs please remember to specify them on the return note.

When you return the product, please provide a description of the defect. Please use the return note, as it facilitates our processing and minimises the claim time. If your return note has been lost, please provide your customer number and possibly your order number and approx. when the product was purchased.
Please note that we do not accept packages sent COD.

Although we have made great efforts to specify the colours and qualities as accurately as possible, computer’s colours and screen resolutions may vary. Minor colour variations are therefore not considered to be a deficiency according to the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
We collect, process and store data in accordance with the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.
10. Applicable law
These trading terms and any contract to purchase goods from us are subject to Danish legislation, except Danish applicable laws and CISG.
We make reservations for typos, being sold out and force majeure, including supply shortages from our suppliers.
